The Banking on a Better Future youth pledge invites young people across Canada (so-called), to pledge not to bank with the big 5 Canadian banks, until they make meaningful commitments to climate justice and Free and Prior Informed Consent by divesting from all fossil fuels.
Whether you are pledging to open your first bank account with a credit union instead of one of the big 5, or pledging to move your account to an alternative banking options, we encourage you to join the movement and single to the banks that they cannot rely on us if we cannot rely on them to safeguard our future.
