Inclusive Development International works to advance social, economic and environmental justice by supporting communities around the world to defend their rights in the face of harmful corporate projects. Through research, casework and policy advocacy, we hold corporations, banks and development agencies accountable to their human rights and environmental responsibilities and promote a more just and equitable international economic system.
Much of our work relates to banks and fossil fuel finance: through our Follow The Money initiative, we uncover the banks enabling harmful projects, including fossil fuel projects, and provide tailored advocacy advice. Our policy work seeks to strengthen the global frameworks governing finance and corporate responsibility, including with respect to finance for fossil fuels. Our China Global Program provides civil society with knowledge and tools to demand greater social and environmental accountability from Chinese actors, including banks.
